Frequently Asked Questions
Most families arrive with the same worries. Will treatment work? What will it cost? How soon can we start? We answer those questions plainly below. No sales pitch. No pressure. Just clear information, so you can decide what makes sense for someone you love.
Your Questions, Answered
How much does treatment cost?
Cost depends on your level of care and insurance. Most major plans cover addiction and mental-health treatment, and verification is free. Call and we can confirm your exact benefits in minutes.
How long does treatment last?
Detox typically runs 5-10 days, residential programs 30-90 days, and outpatient care continues as long as it helps. Your plan is built around your clinical needs, not a fixed calendar.
Can I use my phone during treatment?
Phone policies vary by program and level of care. Many programs allow scheduled phone time after an initial adjustment period. Ask admissions about the policy for your program.
Can my family visit?
Yes, family involvement improves outcomes, and we encourage it through scheduled visits and family therapy sessions.
Is treatment confidential?
Completely. Your privacy is protected by federal law (42 CFR Part 2 and HIPAA). No one is told you are in treatment without your written consent.
Do you treat mental health conditions too?
Yes. Co-occurring depression, anxiety, PTSD, and other conditions are treated together with addiction. Integrated dual-diagnosis care is the evidence-based standard.
What if I live in another state?
We regularly admit clients from out of the area and help arrange travel, including flights. Distance never has to be the reason someone does not get help.
What should I bring?
Comfortable clothing, your ID and insurance card, and any prescriptions in their original bottles. See our packing list for the full rundown.
